Our cosmetology program covers 1,500 clock hours of training, including classroom instruction and hands-on experience. You can complete this training in as little as a year, but your completion date will depend on your schedule and motivation.

Pivot Point is a customized cosmetology curriculum with excellent student kits that give you all the tools to start a beauty career. We are one of the only cosmetology schools in Louisiana that uses the Pivot Point system, and we believe it’s an excellent foundation for aspiring beauty professionals. Stage One The Hair School has been teaching cosmetology skills since 1984. Our graduates are salon owners and employees all over the United States, enjoying successful careers in the beauty industry. We are also one of the only schools in Louisiana using the Pivot Point training system. Admissions Requirements & How to Enroll

- A high school diploma from an approved school

- Have a driver’s license or birth certificate
- To submit an application form
- To attend a campus tour and interview with a team member
